The dictionary is free to use. These terms are mostly about ChineseDict Plus.
ChineseDict Plus
Plus is a one-time purchase of $19.99, tax included. It raises the word list to 10,000 words and the lookup history to 50,000, adds CSV export of the word list, and removes ads for the account. Everything else on the site works the same with or without Plus.
There is no renewal and no further charge. Plus stays on your account for as long as ChineseDict offers Plus, and it covers the features listed on the Plus page.
Plus also covers the ChineseDict apps and browser extensions when they are released, at no extra cost.
Payment
Plus is sold through Link, Stripe's payment service, which is the seller of record. Link takes the payment, includes any sales tax or VAT in the price, and sends the receipt. Card details go to Link and never reach this site. Checkout may show your local currency; the exact amount is shown before you pay.

Your account
An account is created the first time you sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email, or when Plus is bought with an email that has no account yet. There is no password. The same account works in every browser you sign in to.
A free account keeps up to 20 words and the newest 10 lookups. When an account goes back from Plus to free, saved words over the limit stay and can be removed; new words can be saved once the list is under the limit; the history keeps the newest 10.
Deleting the account on the Account page deletes the word list and lookup history at once. If the account has Plus, Plus is removed and cannot be restored. What is stored is listed on the Privacy page.
