Chinese Numbers

2 is 两 before 千, 万 and 亿 (两千, 两万) and 二 everywhere else (二十二, 二百). Zeros inside a number are read once: 10,010 is 一万零一十.

一万五 is 15,000, not 10,005: a last digit after 万, 千 or 百 counts in the next unit down. 10,005 is 一万零五.

Readings go up to 16 digits before the point (9,999 万亿). Longer numbers are only read digit by digit.
